I sat down by the lakes edge and I delicately dip my feet in and enjoy the refreshing water, It had been two weeks since I had come to camp and I felt fabulous and I knew I looked fabulous too. Now it was time to get some beaux

I was on the edge of lake. It's time to try out my new trick. I took a couple steps back. Ok, ok, here we go. I ran as fast as I could. Right before the water I jumped on top of it. I made a gigantic ice pillar explode from underneath me, shooting me into the air at least fifty feet.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" I yelled. I landed in the middle of the lake and made a huge Ice pillar catch me. I stood on the tip of it. I did it. I pumped my fist up in the air. I looked at a girl sitting by the lake. I made the ice pillar shoot me into the air.
"HI THERE!" I saiod while flying through the air.

I rolled on the ground next to her. I laughed. I had a huge cut on my leg. I used some ice to patch that up.
"I am such an idiot," I said through laughing. "Just so you know, I'm serious when I need to be, but why be serious when you can be having fun?" I asked smiling at her. I can read minds much like my father can. The director of the school

"Go get him boy," I said and closed the curtains.

I laugh coldly " you think you can play your tricks on me my mom is the goddess of memories and mind, I can read thoughts just as much as you can " I say, he was kinda cute though

"Cool, I wasn't trying to trick you, I'm not good at that stuff, I'm an honest man," I said as I dusted myself off. I made an ice rose and gave it to her. "For the pretty lady, it smells like your favorite flower," i said smiling at her.

"You are a very beautiful woman, I must say," I said and bowed to her. I turned a portion of the lake into ice that no one could see. I started to walk on the water.
"Care to join me?" I asked smiling at her, offering my hand.

I smiled and led her onto the ice. Then I took my hand back. "Sorry, its just... my hands are so cold... that they burn," I said smiling awkwardly at her. I saw my hands, they were so cold, they were letting off steam. I looked at her face and my hands became a little warmer.

I smile " Its okay " I say shyly, I knew I had a major crush on him, he seemed really sweet and he was pretty cute but I had to be careful with what I did, especially with Mnemosyne

I decided to do something. I shot ice into the air. After awhile I spelled out, Will you go out with me? I looked at her and smiled. I held her hand. My hands weren't smoking anymore. They were warm... cause she was here. I looked at her eyes.

I blushed " I'd like that " I say quietly, I wasn't usually very comfortable around guys, I was always alert but surprisingly I was relaxed and happy and that combination didn't happen often

I smiled at her. "Do you want to try something new?" I asked. I led her over to a spot on the ice and held her close. I was going to show her what it was like to get thrown bu a pillar like fifty feet into the air. It felt good. I felt good right now. I smiled at her, I assured her in her mind,
'It's going to be all right'.

I smile, strangely I wasn't scared I tensed not because of the whole ice thing but because of the going out thing, Mnemosyne wouldn't like that, she was a maiden goddess and she expected her children to follow her example, my last boyfriend well that hadn't ended well

I made the pillar under us, rocket into the air. I held onto her, not letting go. I smiled at her as we flew somewhere around a hundred feet in the air.
'I will never let you down Scarlett' I said in her mind. We started to descent. I nodded at her.

" I don't think this is going to work " I say quietly, as much as I wanted to be with him it wouldn't end well, I'd put my last boyfriend and danger and gotten him killed, I didn't want that to happen again

"Tsk. It will. I can fend for myself," I said as we teleported to shore. "See?" I said smiling at her. I can do a lot of things. I'm not helpless. I smiled at her. She was beautiful. She was shy, and I like that. I smiled even wider.

I smiled uneasily, Mnemosyne was a goddess she could do a lot of things, she messed with the mind most of the time, a majority of my ex boyfriends didn't even remember me

I sighed, I knew Mnemosyne was a lot evillier then what people gave her credit for but whatever, I'd just have to wait and see and enjoy myself while this lasted. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do in life anymore at this point in my life I was supposed to be married and live on a plantation and be rich but sadly that wasn't going to happen so I was going to have to find plan B
